I am new to this and I am just wondering what the process is after you have chosen a sperm donor?

1a Him) Is he a regular blood donor or has had STD tests?
1b Him) Do you want a contract?
1c Him) Has he proven fertility (kids or sperm test)?

2a You) Are you tracking your ovulation with a test (pee-on-a-stick) so you can book his balls up?
2b You) Have you been taking prepregnancy vitamines for the last 3 months (Including Folic acid to prevent Nural tube defects)?
2c You) Have you had a STD test both for Ni and AI? 😀

Hi, complete newbie here… only just signed up…

Stupid Q … What is the standard conception method? I’ve read a few profiles and am not keen on being intimate with a stranger to try and conceive. Are there other less personal methods that can be successfully used?

    Cheers.

I believe you can get great results from a fresh donation and a turkey baster 😛 Sounds out there but if your ovulating then there is no difference 🙂

As to great results from AI? I have 15 little children and 2 current pregnancies using Fresh and a 5 or 10ml syringe (WITHOUT the needle). After he has ejaculated into a sterile container you wait 5 minutes for the sperm to go from a white gel to a clear runny liquid (Think spit consistency). You or your partner suck the sperm up into the syringe and gently squirt it where it needs to go. Lie on your back with your bum elevated for 1/2 to stop the sperm being outed by gravity.
