I find myself in a constant debate about writing this and most of it really depends on the administration of this website if this gets posted or not (it doesn’t matter since I’ll be posting it on other platforms in October of 2019). Give or take people are going to know about it and learn from my experiences as a donor.
After throwing money at this site for 3 years I’ll be moving on. I mainly got into donation to help women have families of their own since I am not able to have one in my personal life. I could start getting back into the dating scene but after you reach a certain age in the States you are considered old and not fertile enough to have a family.
My interaction from various users on this website has literally been a game of cat & mouse. I really do not see the point in having the option of selecting a Favorite or Winking at someone but never actually subscribing to the site to interact with the person. As in all things, you get what you put into it whether it’s to fill out a profile and actually paying for a membership.
The first couple that I worked with was an actual nightmare. They wanted a donation ASAP but could not wait two months and two weeks for me to update my tests through my Primary Care Physician. I literally set up the appointments and kept them up to date vial e-mail until they decided to ghost me when I mentioned that I would like some financial coverage for traveling for four hours one way just to donate in a cup. I went through the same rigmarole with a single mother who wanted a sibling for her child: get tested, disappears.
Anything positive or negative is a learning experience. I’m not saying that this is a nasty website and people would have better luck looking elsewhere. A lot of it really depends on the social actions of other people and how they are treated. Generally for myself, I’m tired of throwing money away at people who are either not fit to be good parents and people with cold feet and should not even be on this site in the first place.
I will end this by saying the best advice to both donors and recipients: Treat people with Respect, no one is perfect including myself. Learn to Compromise: a concept of finding agreement through communication, through a mutual acceptance of terms—often involving variations from an original goal or desires. Have Patience.
Thank you for taking your time on reading this and take this advice for which it has been given, good luck.heymandyMemberSeptember 21, 2019 at 11:57 pmPost count: 1
I wish I saw this before I threw money at the site.mickiqb3MemberSeptember 26, 2019 at 11:58 pmPost count: 2

I am sorry to hear that.I have been lucky. Met two “real” sincere couples, in the first 3 months they now have attractive and healthy baby girl. The next is a work in progress. That being said I have bumped into folks that made me think more than twice.
