I don't fully understand what coparenting means. If someone could elaborate on exactly how it works. Live together, live seperate, artificial insemination, natural insemination, etc. The only info I've been able to find online is for seperated or divorced parents. I think I would like to coparent. I'm looking to have a baby in the next year/year and a half. I don't want to end up 40 and rushing to have a baby. I want to be a parent now. With work it's not possible currently but when I go back to school I would like to start looking more seriously getting pregnant. I want to start a friendship with someone who'd like to coparent starting early before entering into a coparent partnership so there can be a friendship and caring before the baby arrives so there's less risk of changed minds, other issues. I would like to have a coparent that's like my best friend. Please reply to this.

Co-parenting is choosing to have a child without marriage. the arrangements of which can vary a lot between the couple(s) involved. How it is done is also up to those couple(s). It basically means both people directly involved would like at least minimal contact with the child.
