• Seeking Sperm in Melbourne

Posted by Unknown Member on 22 January 2025 at 11:06

Hello, I’m a 39 yr old, University educated professional woman in Victoria. Due to pursuing professional ambitions, and my long term relationship ending I am now single, with my motherhood dreams now in a state of emergency as my clock is ticking.

I’m trying to conceive to be a single Mum by choice with the help of a donor.

I went to have my first public (free) IVF appointment a few days ago and whilst I am eligible for the treatment asap, they said there is a 3 year waitlist on clinic recruited donor sperm (Royal Womens Hospital Public Sperm Bank).

Can anyone please help me by being my “known sperm donor” via Victoria’s free IVF program?

After getting to “know” each other,

I would need you to visit the Royal Women’s hospital and do the following:

1- Have a counselling appointment (they explain the ramifications of donation to you… for example, the child can contact you when they turn 18)

    2- Do an STD check

    3- Make a donation

4- Do a follow up STD check 3 months after the donation

I am more interested in a donor scenario rather than co-parenting.

Thank you for reading, I hope to hear from you soon

I have a similar situation like Mel. I’ve done IVF twice both times fail. I’m also in the queue for 3 years of waiting list.
