Male Coparent or Donor in Ottawa, but travels frequently
My story. I joined the site this morning. I’ve been in IVF for over 20 years, because my ex-wife had scarred tubes. A dozen years into the experience, a friend volunteered to do donor egg with us, which extended our effort, after which we did anonymous donor egg in Washington, DC. We had multiple pregnancies, and I was deemed to be a very good sperm provider, but the tubal pregnancies continued even with IVF. My ex and I have been separated for over a year and a half, and I’m still dating in the hopes of having a family. However, I came across this site, and thought I’d look into this.
I’m a scientist turned MBA, so I’m smart, accomplished, and settled. I work out 3 times a week, play a number of sports, ski, skate, kayak, bike and am in pretty good shape. Anyone who has played ultimate frisbee a decade ago in Ottawa probably knows who I am. I play piano, guitar and bass, and tend to pick things up pretty quickly, so as a genome donor, would probably do well. I’m 5’11” and 185, so in a decent range. All this to say, I’m open to helping where possible. That said, I’m East Indian, if anyone is particular.
I’m open to discuss various arrangements. Ideally, I’d like to be part of any child’s future, but I’m also understanding of people’s desire to limit this. The friend of ours who volunteered to donate eggs was completely selfless, and I understand the need to try to pay this forward.
